Location

The focus is clearly on the new federal states, namely Berlin and Brandenburg, as well as Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. The cities that primarily interest us include Brandenburg an der Havel, Magdeburg, Eisenach, Dresden, Berlin and Leipzig, each with its surrounding area. The condition is that the place has at least 10,000 inhabitants or is located in the immediate vicinity of a major city. Basically, we are interested in the so-called "B" and "C" locations, i.e. it does not always have to be the city center or the trendy district.

Type of use

We are particularly looking for apartment buildings as well as combined residential and commercial buildings. We also welcome offers of entire residential complexes with at least 30 units and residential portfolios that may also include a commercial component. Building plots are relevant for us if they have already been developed and we can build the apartments. The ideal size is between 400 and 2,500 m². We do not take over already realized new building projects or project planning.

Desired Features

When we talk about apartment buildings, we expect a minimum of six units. We are also happy to bid if there is potential for optimization or if vacancies exist, and we also have no problem with refurbishments or maintenance. Please also offer if heritable building rights are available or if the properties are publicly subsidized housing. We prefer the purchase as an asset deal, but participation models are also conceivable.

Prices

Maximum purchase prices do not exist for our company for the time being. The volumes of previous transactions of Westminster Immobilien GmbH have been between € 300,000 and € 70 million, but we are also open to exceeding or falling below these budgets.
